Northwest Film Fest

Wes came up with the concept and design for the 26th Annual Film and Video Fest while working at Plazm with Josh Berger in the late nineties. After discovering an old theater chair left outside a building and photographing it, a contact sheet was made of all the images together. Seeing the chair in multiple perspectives lead Wes to consider the prospect of locating and photographing 26 different theater chairs to advertise the event. As luck would have it, a company in Portland had a warehouse stocked full of theater chairs and allowed us to dig through the collection and photograph them.
The final poster was 4 color process with a PMS silver metallic ink (a reference to the silver screens originally used in the projection of early films in theaters).
